I told John that I had enough photos of him in the winners circle but I was taking the picture just for the pretty girl standing next to him. Ericka Larson was the girl. Her bright smile was a welcome change from looking at sweaty race car drivers.

Earlier in the night watching Phil Dugan pinning the corsage on Ericka was priceless.

Dugan won the trophy dash and had the duty to pin the corsage on Ericka Larson (the trophy girl of the night), then later while running really well with some hard driving competition John Nesmith passed Dugan on the inside and Chris Ratterree tried to follow Nesmith.

As you can see Phil Dugan's car is crunched pretty bad; both ends of the car, front suspension, body, etc. Phil looked alot better than the car though.
