I.O.K.A. Summer Challenge Series

Well ok! After taking on my biggest challenge this past winter with running the indoor series with Dean Taylor. I have been talked into working with (Owyhee Motocross Club Of Boise Id.) OMC to bring Outlaw Karts back to OMC this summer. With ALOT of ideas brought to the conference table. OMC has decided to make racing more conducive to us. They are going to REPLACE the track! It will be a completely different race track. Its going to be shorter and wider and flatter! Which will attract more people to the raceway again! We will have 3 two day shows at OMC that do not interfere with any other track in the valley. I'm not trying to separate our racing group just going to make another option for YOU the Racers! Also, I have worked it out with Dennis @ RCRT (Twin Falls Id.) and his 2 day show in July will be run under IOKA Summer Challenge Series rules and race format! We will run (2) 10 lap heats. With an invert on the 2nd race. Line up the Main off of heat points 20 lap mains. I'm really excited about this. With the increasing travel cost this season I hope having 2 day shows will help attract more racers from around the area. I will post the "NEW RULE" package for this racing season. After the Indoor season we have addressed alot of the racers concerns that were brought to our attention. With much discussing we will have a wider variety of products allowed to race at this series to actually help the owners save some money! I really look forward to any and all of your comments and advice. The track construction at OMC will begin this weekend! I will be updating our home page in the next couple days to reflect the Summer Series. I want to thank all our sponsors and volunteers from this past season again!
