Youngsters and "Grownups"
On the other forum sometimes refered to as the "Bitch Board" some one (I can't yet put all of the online names with the actual names and faces) was raising a big stink about Kenny Hamilton Productions, Meridian Speedway, and John Wood putting young drivers in winged sprints. After reading all of the rants, complaining, griping, bitching, etc. over the last several months on that board I have come to the conclusion that several people need to grow up.
Sierra Jackson wrote in on Sunday Night regarding the above issue and it seems to me that this young high school student is one of the most grown up posters on that board. I spoke with her for a few minutes right after the crash and major wad up at Meridian and she seemed quite composed. Hey, and you guys that rant because she has a goal that you don't agree with, grow up.
Even though she is not exactly my all time favorite driver (possibly a generation gap sor t of thing) I do admire her abilities, her nerve, and drive to succeed. As a writer I try to put my feelings aside and give credit where it is due. In this case I believe I have.
