2nd Annual Idaho Rally
RALLYDRIFT INC ANNOUNCES THE 2ND ANNUAL IDAHORALLY TO START ON JULY 10th, 2008.

Larry Miller Subaru of Boise and Idaho Rally 2008 present the second annual Idaho Rally. This will be a performance or stage rally with specially built street legal cars competing on roads in the mountains east of Boise.
Idaho Rally 2008 will bring several racing drivers and crews from all over the American west and Canada to compete on the back country roads of the Boise National Forest. On July 10 through 12, 2008 the city of Mountain Home, Idaho will host the event. With support from the Mayor, Mountain Home Highway District and Chamber of Commerce the event will start on Thursday July 10 with a ceremonial start at the Hampton Inn & Suites, and then on the 11th the racing begins in the Boise National Forest near Prairie. For the competitors the roads are very technical and smooth.
There will be spectator areas along the stages so fans can get up close to the racing action. Admission to the spectator areas is five dollars for both days of racing action. For an even better view of the racing action fans can sign up to be volunteer course workers to assist the event organizers with safety, set up, and other things. Those wishing to be course workers must contact rally headquarters or simply sign up online.
Last year's event brought competitors and event organizers from several western states. With the enthusiasm from competitors from across the US for Idaho Rally 2008 this event will likely grow to international status in the future.
The sanctioning body involved with the event is National Auto Sport Association (NASA Rally Sport) governing the United States Rally Championship, California Rally Series, and the Pacific Northwest Rally Championship.
