All the news that's fit to print...

and now even a little bit of local racing news.

Maybe some of you have noticed that the local newspapers (and I don't mean just the Valley Times, they have been printing Meridian Speedway's stuff for a long time) have been printing a little bit more of the local racing news. Yesterday, as on most Sundays after writing my race report I have sent it to the ASA News, IT Weekly, Racing West, Valley Times, The Idaho Statesman, The Press Tribune and of course Idaho Racing News.

But this week (on Monday) the Statesman and the Press Tribune both printed some of what I sent them in the sports section under either local motorsports or local sports briefs. Finally they are printing something. I am trying to get them to print more of the local stuff. In the past the Statesman sports editor has been more or less anti motorsports and at the Press Tribune they have been mostly apathetic. You, the motorsports fans can change that. They will print what there is a demand for. You must demand it.

If you are the track writer for any of the other motorsports venues contact me and I can put you in touch with the person to contact or you can just send it in and also call the editors to see what they want. They will print some of it and they are getting more responsive to motorsports.

Send the race reports, results, points etc. idahoracingnews.com also. We will post it.

Thanks
