Idaho Racing News

Hello Race fans. I have been planning on creating a motorsports news organization for about 4 years now. I got fed up with the scarcity of news coverage by the local news papers and decided to do something about it.

About 3 1/2 years ago I discovered a local publication called "Full Throttle" published by Steve Towrey of PrintCraft in Caldwell. I asked him if he needed any help with writing and content and he told me no because he was closing down the magazine. I then decided to start Idaho Racing News.

After considerable time Idaho Racing News is finally up and running again. I had the web page up for a short time in 2004 (some of you may remember) but now the site is easier for me to manage and race results will be posted immediately.

A few months ago I was asked to be the track writer for Meridian Speedway. I am thoroughly enjoying this. Aside from the benifits I receive from the track I get to hang with racers every weekend. Racers and race fans are some of may favorite people.

In addition to Meridian Speedway I travel to Bonneville Salt Flats every year for the annual Speed Week in mid August. This year I will post that information within a few days of returning. Along with notes about some of the local competitors.

Pics will be posted as soon as this website is set up to receive pics. I love photography and if I shoot enough I get some very good pics so look for those in the future.
