Boise, Idaho – Coming up this next Tuesday, June 24, motorsports fans will have something to listen to on the drive home instead of the traffic and weather or the same old over played songs. KIOV talk radio in association with Mr. Lucky’s Lounge will present a new motorsports talk show, live from Mr. Lucky’s on Chinden Blvd. in Garden City, “Victory Lap with Dave and Brent”. This program will be on the air every Tuesday from 5 to 7. Dave Parry, owner of Mr. Lucky’s, and Brent Arte, on track microphone personality from Meridian Speedway, and veteran racer (almost) in his own right, will be sharing their vast knowledge of local motorsports and more importantly their ability to talk with local racers and fans and keep it interesting.

Both Dave Parrie and Brent Arte have a great love of racing which, combined with their quick witted enthusiasm, and a racing background in the Treasure Valley qualifies them to host a racing show on the radio.

Dave has been a local racer for the past 25 years, a racing promoter, and most recently, has competed in the Winged Sprint class at Meridian Speedway and earned a July 4th main event win last year. Dave is known as Mr. Lucky to his peers and fans.

Brent is a life long fan of racing starting with every Saturday night with his dad at Meridian Speedway. As an adult his first time around the track came in the Hornet class and he then moved to Mini Stocks for a short time. When his son started racing Outlaw Karts Brent hung up his helmet to be crew chief and car owner. Brent and Brian Rodgers produced and hosted a radio talk show for a short time in the valley and later both Brian and Brent became the full time announcers at Meridian Speedway.
