Victory Lap - Dave and Brent visit with Ron Ratterree at Mr. Lucky's
The first weekly Victory Lap radio show presented by KIOV and Mr. Lucky's featured Ron Ratterree, Wilke Meyers, and TC Ellis as guests. Ron Ratterree is the one on the left, Dave Parrie is in the middle and Brent Arte on the right (information included for those not from around here). Later they interviewed Wilke Meyers from the Northwest Hillclimb Association and the Snake River SCCA. The NHA just completed their annual Freezeout Hilclimb. (more on that later). During the last half of the show TC Ellis of Meridian Speedway was the guest in the hot seat. (figure of speach only, note in the photo the guest is standing).
The first ever show was an unqualified success in my opinion. There were some minor technical glitches, everyone involved was nervous, but once they got started Brent and Dave did what they do best - talk. And so therefore it worked out just fine.
