Meridian, Idaho - The quickly growing local racing radio program, Victory Lap with Brent Arte, has aired for the last time. Effective today (August 14,2008) the program, airing live from Muggsy’s Sports Bar and Salsa Grill and heard on 1450 KIOV, will not be aired with host Brent Arte as it has since June. Brent would like to thank Dave and Diane at KIOV for the opportunity as well as Dave Parrie of Mr. Lucky's Lounge, Brian Calkins of idahoracingnews.com, Don and Diane of Western Raceway Video, Barnard of Spooled Productions, Steve Towery of Printcraft, the staff and management of Meridian Speedway and Ron Rattarree and all the outlaw kart racers for their help, and the huge support of all the racers and fans for helping out during this second shot at a radio program. Due to some technical issues and some personal conflicts, it has been Brent's decision to cease production of the show for the time being. Brent can still be contacted through his columns at idahoracingnews.com, at Meridian Speedway every Saturday night, where he is the infield announcer at the track and at outlaw kart races around the valley as he helps his son achieve the dream of becoming a successful racer.
