Kenny Hamilton did not let a little thing like a missing front wing stop or even slow him down. He went from the back to the front in 78 laps to take the lead and then take off with it. Brandon Johnson has been struggling all year with set up or chassis or something but Hamilton has been hooked up. Johnson is still great to watch and loves to entertain. We will miss him next year when he returns to his much loved dirt tracks. Best wishes to him and the Torch in their future. We will be watching them from afar and I hope they send us stuff to print so we can keep tabs on them.

Rising to the top
If you fill a sock with rocks and then shake it the larger ones will always rise to the top. If you run a race long enough the fastest cars and drivers will make it to the front. (Exceptions of course when you include stuff like mechanical problems and wrecks)
A few years ago I heard a baseball commentator claim that the 7 game world series is not long enough to decide the best team. In fact, 160 or so games in the season is just barely long enough, he said. Same goes for racing. The season is just barely long enough to decide the fastest car but that 100 lap race came close. It was awesome. I was worried (worries that were apparently well founded it turned out) but it turned out to be a great show. Congratulations to the 01 team, and especially to the driver, KH.
