That is the battle cry for Dirty Idaho Racing Toys (D.I.R.T.)! D.I.R.T. is a group of 4X4 and mud drag enthusiast that are putting together a Point Series for the mud drag races in Southern Idaho. The venues range from Castleford and Richfield to Council and Weiser with races in between. The racing has been going for years without an organized point system. D.I.R.T. is bringing together the different venues to race with similar track designs and a set of rules for all. This way the racers know what to expect when they travel to these different venues. Feedback from the racers has been positive and for the 2009 race season D.I.R.T. will have seven point races. That is one a month from May through October. Buck’s 4X4 Shop is also hosting a BBQ to get to know the people involved in D.I.R.T. and the track representatives on April 18th from 4:00pm till 6:00pm. The shop address is 4500 W. Chinden in Boise.
Mud drags are fun for the entire family to both compete in and watch. We have seen kids grow up to race against their parents (and sometimes win)!
