Department of Corrections

Last week I sent out a press release for the racing last Saturday at Meridian. I sent outy the PR on SUnday but I used my wife's computer which only has a dial up connection. Apparently GMAIL does not work very well on that computer and would not come up so I used her email. Now I am not sure that the PR made it out to some of the intended locations because they might not have recognized the sender.

Later I sent a copy of the PR to Rodeo Rick and he told me that I had the wrong pic of Lamborn the number 48 supermod driver. I had the hornet driver instead. I pick the file from a thumbnail when I get ready to send it and must have seen the right number of people in the photo and a yellow car in the background and thought I had the one. I will be checking my stuff a little better in the future.

I hope that if the email went through to IT Weekly and the Valley Tmes that they caught it because I found out about my mistake long after their printing time.

I will be sending a correction to all publications as soon as I find out what the damage was. My appologies to Dale Lamborn and to any others who were anoyed by this.

Dodged the bullet

The wrong photo I sent in to IT Weekly didn't get used. I just saw the latest issue and they used the photo I had of the 48 (Lamborn) while qualifying instead of the incorrect one after the win.

I will post the correct photos this week.
