Chase spells good luck for three (or four) drivers.

Three year old Chase (Racing for Smiles honoree from September 19, 2009) signed three race cars on Saturday night. The drivers of two of those went on to win. Rob Powers (in photo) had Chase sign the hood that will go on display in his shop after the racing season and then won the Late Model Lite championship. Eddie Ables had Chase sign his hood and won the main in the mini stocks. Chase Gilbertson won his main event in his Bandolero just a few laps after three year old Chase started the race by waving the green flag. One last car signature by Chase on the No. 4 Legend driven by Darin Turpin did not end up in a win but his teammate Mark Zirschky in the No. 6 did win. Chase did spend a lot of time sitting in the No. 6 before the race though. Maybe the luck got transfered at that time.
