Rodeo Rick Moving On
As some of you may know Rick Darcy (AKA Rodeo Rick) had his last night of announcing at Meridian Speedway on Saturday September 15. Rick took a full time position as the morning show DJ at a country station in Cheyenne Wyoming.
While no one knows the cars and drivers like Brent Arte it was big help for the show at MSW to have Rick along side of Brent. The two worked well together and the audience participation was at an all time high with those two out there. Rick and Brent also produced a show called Pit Pass that they played during the pit meeting while there was nothing else going on and just before the qualifying. They interviewed drivers and replayed those interviews and inserted their own comentary. Dang it was a good show.
Meridian Speedway fans and co-workers will miss his unique brand of humor and his ability to help the fans to live the racing experience.
