ANNOUNCES THE 2nd ANNUAL IDAHO RALLY

Mountain Home, Idaho. (March 9, 2008) Round 3 of the United States Rally Championship.
The organizing team of the 2nd annual Idaho Rally is gearing up for this two-day performance rally in the mountains of the Boise National Forrest. The area has a storied history in mining, ranching and more recently, tourism and the Idaho Rally shares in this history. Competitors will race through the historic mining town of Rocky Bar, slide through hairpins and transfer along beautiful canyons and the Boise River.
This year’s event is scheduled to be on July 11-12th and will feature 110 stage miles of dirt roads. Some activities are based in Mountain Home, Idaho. The car parade through town and the park expose are opportunities for all parties to meet and mingle. Three spectator friendly stages have been set up to fulfill the rally enthusiast’s needs. Jens Schkade, Event Chairman, has laid out the stages to be challenging for the competitor while fun for spectators to view.
Sponsors for this mainstay northwestern event include Larry Miller Subaru of Boise, Rallydrift, Inc., Cactus Bar of Boise and the Subaru North West Region. Timing and Scoring will be provided by the California Rally Series.
