The race season started early for several area drivers as the first “So You Think You Can Race” challenge kicked off on January 30, 2010, owner Jeff Agenbroad graciously opened the doors of Fast Lane Kart Racing for the event.
MERIDIAN, Idaho -- Dan Buckley parlayed one of the fastest laps of the night into a victory Saturday, but it didn't come without a little nail-biting drama at ASA-sanctioned Meridian Speedway.
Melisa Scott kicked off the season with a hat trick. Fast qualifier (even beating last year's best), winner of the fast dash, winner of the main event and best looking car in the Street Stock class.

Race fans aren’t the only ones who are anxious for the new season at Meridian Speedway.
Managing partner Adam Nelson said racers are champing at the bit to get on the new surface, too.

After a 2009 season that saw impressive attendance and racing, operators intend to keep the fans coming back with new action and fantastic aesthetics.
“We were excited about 2009. We’re real excited about 2010,” managing partner Adam Nelson said.
