Motocross racer seriously injured in crash

A former Owyhee County resident was seriously injured April 20 in a race accident at Owyhee Motorcycle Club in Boise.
Monte Benson, 43, suffered a brain injury and a broken shoulder during the motocross crash, according to his stepmother, Jackie Benson.
