Wrecks wreak havoc on Meridian title chases as season wanes

MERIDIAN, Idaho — With the nights of the 2010 racing season winding down at ASA-sanctioned Meridian Speedway, drivers in the middle of tight points races found hard luck Saturday night.
Both Mike Murgoitio in the Mtn. Dew Winged Sprintcars and Tom Hill in the ESI Express ASA Modifieds had rough nights and watched close rivals grabbed checkered flags.

MERIDIAN, Idaho — Two racecar drivers found bright spots Saturday night in their otherwise gloomy 2010 seasons at ASA-sanctioned Meridian Speedway.
Tyler Bailey of Middleton, Idaho, and Meridian, Idaho's Wyatt King finally discovered winning recipes during Domino's Pizza Night at the paved quarter-mile oval.

MERIDIAN, Idaho -- Winning a 100-lap race takes a lot of work. Nampa, Idaho's Chad Bess worked hard to even get to the track Saturday night before lugging home a huge trophy.
Bess led the final 50 laps of the College of Western Idaho Professional Truck Driving School Street Stock 100 at ASA-sanctioned Meridian Speedway.
