MERIDIAN, Idaho — The racing moved from pavement to dirt this weekend at ASA-sanctioned Meridian Speedway, but the results were just as thrilling as fans had come to expect throughout the 2011 season.

MERIDIAN, Idaho — Even in the unpredictable world of dirt track Outlaw Karts, it’s important for a driver to hit the marks while sliding around the oval.
Boise, Idaho’s Brenna Lee took the requirement a little further Friday night during the first round of Al Russell’s Dirty Cup at ASA-sanctioned Meridian Speedway.


Nampa driver doesn’t mind losing car in big speedway payday

MERIDIAN, Idaho — He had to give up his racecar, but Art Heath rode the ebb and flow of a 100-mile race to a significant cash flow Saturday night.

The Nampa, Idaho driver pocketed $2,700 to win the Smoke, Steam and Cash Enduro 250 at ASA-sanctioned Meridian Speedway.

MERIDIAN, Idaho – Ben Matheson got the repeat, and Camron Madsen didn’t Saturday night at ASA-sanctioned Meridian Speedway.
Matheson became the second man from Washington state to win the Austin Christopherson Memorial 50 twice, but the stars aligned to put Cameron Cotta of Meridian, Idaho at the top of the championship heap in the Domino’s Pizza Legends.


Daring Weaver wraps up another Street Stocks win at Meridian

MERIDIAN, Idaho – Melissa Weaver got the last bit of glory in her Street Stocks duel Saturday night at ASA-sanctioned Meridian Speedway.

Fellow Nampa, Idaho driver Chad Bess lowered his own track record on Pro Filter 99 night, but Weaver used a daring move on the backstretch to collect another College of Western Idaho Professional Truck Driving Street Stocks feature.

(Twin Falls, Idaho) Watkins Distributing/Bud Lite along with KMVT Channel 11 provided an evening crammed full of thrills, spills and excitement. From Black Powder Anvil shooting to Parachute Landings and Boat Destruction, all capped off by fireworks, the fans left well satisfied.
